The main attractive feature of each city is its residents. It is an important factor for a tourist city, because not only the nature and life conditions create the pleasant atmosphere, but people themselves.
   Those tourists who visited Vilkovo, celebrated not only by the magnificent beauty of nature, but also by a special supportive friendly character of vilkovians. The basis of this character is in a cheerful diligence and commitment to moral purity. There is no other way, because vilkovians are the children of nature, and this nature itself contributes to the formation of their character. Tourists enjoy exotic Vilkovo eriks and boat fishing; but for residents it is a heavy daily work. Vilkovians start working from childhood, and children like adults perceive work as a vital necessity.
   In his essay “The Town on the Eriks”, Bulat Okudzhava described the succession of moral diligence in deeds of Vilkovo schoolboy:
   “A ten years boy came back from school, took his white shirt and red tie off, took a shovel and went to erik. He was cleaning it of silt for long and skillfully. Nobody made him do the job, and it did not like the boy served his duties, and the returning mother did not thank him, not even praised: it is so usual and common – to clean up public property”.
   The essay was written in 1962, so nowadays the Okudzhava’s pioneer is the grandfather of modern students. Today the grandchildren of the former pioneer not less selflessly care about either studies, or work on eriks.
   The aphorism states: children are the window to the society in which they live in. If to judge the society in Vilkovo by the achievements of schoolchildren, we can proudly say that diligence remains the lifeblood of vilkovians.
   In 2015, the Pearl publishing center issued the book “Future of Odessa region – gifted children.” One section of the book is called “Hope and Proud of Volkovo”. Six Vilkovo schoolchildren are presented in the book.
   “This book is a story about highly gifted children; it is like an ode to the immortal spirit of creativity that pervades the life of each courageous and independent person. The collection includes achievements and victories, highlights of childhood and youth of young people …”.
   Vilkovo children represented in this collection is a merit of all Vilkovo society in which the moral ideal are inherited.
   Great classic Leo Tolstoy wrote of wisdom parenting:
   “All the moral education of children is reduced to the good example. Live good, or at least try to live good; thus, as you success in the good life you will manage to bring up well-mannered children”.
   Magnificent success of Vilkovo children at school, work or sports is an example of right and just life for generations of vilkovians.
   Years will pass away, and today’s children will become adults, and tourists will still admire not only Vilkovo nature, but the benevolent character of vilkovians. It has been and so it will be, because the nature of vilkovians is a gift of nature.
